Between 1990 and 2003, Nicole MOSSOUX and Patrick BONTE have made several forays into the world of cinema and video as they develop their rapport with two directors, Dirk GRYSPEIRT and Michel JAKAR. An imaginary taiga, a vanished empire, of beings marching backwards, a couple which constantly reconfigures without recognizing each other... Here, as in their shows, the choreographer and the director propose an exploration of the blurred zones of sensitivity, offering a different way of seeing and thinking about our relationship with the world: though a strange familiarity, a sense of humour, a cold intimacy.
