This album is a good example of how a rock musician can bring something new to the genre.

The approach is deliberately spontaneous, with the album recorded in less than two days, using rough sounds and the energy of the moment.

No need to polish up the production in the studio, for accidents during the recording are even a bonus, as long as it sounds alive.

Pierre develops a style which has rigour, technique, humour, improvisation, and above all, power. There is always a non-reversible strength that comes out of the compositions, both in the complex and the simple parts, and it is obvious that the choice of the rhythm section could only give such maximum and sustained pressure.
On the other hand, heaps of guitar and keyboard interventions make your head spin, from small sarcastic melodies to sulphurous improvisations.

Such a maelstrom of ideas and wealth of musical innovation are pretty unusual - this album has all the hallmarks of being the new standard to judge everything else by.
