Listen to Track 1

With "High Infidelity", PRESENT goes one step further.
"Souls For Sale", a track which was originally the first part of "Ceux d'en Bas", on the album "N°6", plunges us into a piece lasting 27 minutes.
The piece is divided into several intense phases, with more contrasted soundscapes, and especially the addition of a brass section, which, emerging from the wall of sound provided by the basic line-up, better penetrates the emotions of the listener.
PRESENT is inescapable, and the steamroller continues its work in this great fresco.
"Strychnine for Christmas", a first composition for the band by the pianist Pierre Chevalier, hits its mark - the spirit of PRESENT'S music is perfectly assimilated and bodes well for a future contributions.
"Rêve de Fer", the last piece, reflects is title (Iron Dream), conceding nothing to banality, to fashion, but simply describes the reality of this world.
PRESENT dares to do what scares others, and throws its gift like a brick into the lake of clichés. There is no doubt that the band is growing, and to prove it, they have already imposed themselves in many countries - notably Japan, and the USA.
Unfortunately, they are still relatively unknown in their home country, Belgium.
PRESENT is undoubtedly one of the most important bands around at the moment, and their new material opens a path to more orchestral work, while remaining faithful to their hard core of rock.
