Jeroen VAN HERZEELE's band is now known as "GREETINGS FROM MERCURY". This album was recorded live, during a concert at the "Vooruit" in Ghent, and gives us an idea of the ability of this rapidly rising group, thanks to their performance of a music full of subtlety. The music is developed in a well organised way with the pieces linking together to form a permanent crescendo. Some of the passages reflect the atmosphere created by Miles DAVIS' music, specifically during the "Big Fun" era, with the contribution of the sitar of Michel ANDINA, who plays a guest role. The combination of African hypnoses and Oriental climaxes is complemented by Steven SEGERS' engaging rap lyrics, in which there are some real poetic gems.
