Jan KUIJKEN, the leader of this 'chamber orchestra' has five musicians with him who are not only excellent players but intensive improvers. The band is a reference in itself, with all of Belgium's best progressive musicians. The experience of these musicians is such that all musical acrobatics are possible; either as improvised solos or in the execution of the rigorous compositions. Despite the absence of percussion and the fact that everything is played with acoustic instruments; the overriding feeling that comes out of the music is one of cohesive energy. Like a rock band who didn't bother to look for a plug.
