Listen to Track 1

AKA MOON lead an expedition to the heart of Africa to experience and record the songs and lives of these little big people.

A lot of pygmy music has already been recorded but AKA music is very rare so this record is a unique document.

It has a musician's approach and was recorded just by taping music which accompanies the pygmies' everyday lives, without going for a set up 'best of'.

The sheer beauty of the music will appeal to ethnologists and public alike.
